    Install (copy–paste included)
    1. Open the Shelf Tool editor
      • Houdini → Windows → Shelves → New Tool…
      • Name: Viewport Screenshot
      • Label: Viewport Screenshot
      • Script Language: set to Python
    2. Copy–paste the code
      • In this chat’s code pane titled “Viewport Screenshot”, Select All → Copy
      • Back in the New Tool window, click the Script tab and Paste the code
    3. Choose a shelf & save
      • Pick an existing shelf (e.g. Utils) or create a new one
      • Click Accept — the button appears on your shelf
    4. (Optional) Set an icon
      • Right-click the new shelf button → Edit Tool…Icon
      • Use a built-in icon (browse with hicon://) or drop your own PNG/SVG in
        $HOUDINI_USER_PREF_DIR/config/Icons/ and type its filename (no extension)
